Specialized meeting "New technologies in reducing waste and residues of medicinal plants: from production to consumption"

The specialized meeting "New Technologies in Reducing Medicinal Plant Waste from Production to Consumption" was held by the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC) in cooperation with the Union of Scientific Associations of Medicinal Plants of Iran.

According to the public relations report of Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC); The specialized meeting "New technologies in reducing the waste and residues of medicinal plants from production to consumption" was held by the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center in cooperation with the Union of Scientific Associations of Medicinal Plants of Iran, with the presence of Mohammad Baqer Rezaei, Professor of the Research Institute of Forests and Pastures of Iran and Mirrahimi, Head of Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center  on August 10, 1403.

In this meeting, 15 experts, managers and faculty members of the IHEC, leading operators of the agricultural sector, and more than 110 connection points were present.

The following five experts spoke in this meeting:

1) Mohammad Hossein Azizi, professor of Tarbiat Modares University and head of the Food Industry Association with the topic of "active and intelligent packaging",

2) Laeeq Haghighi, a researcher of Iran's Forestry and Rangeland Research Institute on the subject of "Cultivation and post-harvest of medicinal plants".
