The specialized meeting "Development of medicinal plants in the village" with the participation of the private sector and people was carried out by the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center in cooperation with the Union of Scientific Associations of Iranian Medicinal Plants.

According to the public relations report of the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC), the specialized meeting "Development of medicinal plants in the village” was held with the participation of the private sector and the people by the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC) in cooperation with the Union of Scientific Associations of Iranian Medicinal Plants on Wednesday, August 3, 1403. It was both in a virtual form with the participation of about 50 connection points, and 10 participants in the hall of Professor Kamalinejad.

This meeting was held with the presence of Mohammad Baqer Rezaei, professor of the Research Institute of Forests and Pastures of Iran, and the head of the Union of Scientific Associations of Medicinal Plants, and the following topics and speakers:

1) Soror Khorramdel, associate professor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (domestic employment of rural women and medicinal plants, a way to achieve sustainable development),

2) Najmeh Hadi, a member of the academic staff of the Research Institute of Forests and Pastures of Iran (medicinal plants and domestic employment),

3) Fatemeh Afshari, Associate Professor, Ministry of Education (Employment of rural women by processing the advantageous plant of barberry),

4) Alireza Karbasi, professor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (sustainable rural development with the approach of medicinal plants),

5) Farhad Sarempour, entrepreneur of medicinal plants (production of medicinal plants in the village)

In this meeting, Ali Ebrahimi, a member of the national staff of medicinal plants, also spoke about the importance of developing medicinal plants in Iran.
