According to the public relations report from Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center , The opening ceremony of the international training workshop entitled "Getting to know the capabilities of producing livestock vaccines in Iran started  on Tuesday, May30, 2023, for veterinary experts from African country of Mali, at the meeting hall of the country's veterinary organization with the participation of the following : International relations managers of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad and the country's veterinary organization, officials and managers and academic staff members of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center and Tehran University .

This training workshop is being held from May 29 to July 20this year for 50 days.

The trainees of this course will learn how to deal with foot-and-mouth disease and other poultry viral diseases, especially bird flu. The trainees of the mentioned course will also get acquainted with Razi Serum Institute, which is the largest vaccine production center in the Middle East, and they will be trained in the National Veterinary Organization's Diagnostic Center regarding vaccine quality control. Also, during this training course, they will visit two factories of Iran's private sectors in the production of vaccines.

In the opening program, the managers and representatives of the participating organizations presented their opinions on the implementation of this workshop, and then an English film introducing the Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center was shown to introduce IHEC for the foreign experts participating in the workshop.
