The Congress of Mechanization and Processing of Medicinal Plants (MPMP)
From 21 to 23 February 2022
Due to the fact that the medicinal plants can be used as a good replacement for chemical drugs and it is believed that the use of machines and mechanization in the production chain and processing of medicinal plants will decrease the production cost which in turn will increase the productivity. Consequently, the need for papers is crucial and can pave the way toward the advancement of the field to establish communication between professionals, researchers, craftsmen, managers, leading farmers, producers, and all those interested in this field, and to increase the knowledge of producers, researchers and Manufacturers in the field of mechanization of production and processing of medicinal plants and introduce innovations in this field. The Congress of Mechanization and Processing of Medicinal Plants (MPMP) seeks to provide a platform for the detailed study of the following issues:
- Post-Harvest and Processing
- Innovative Technologies
- Education and Entrepreneurship
- Economy and Trade of Medicinal Plants
Workshops will also be held during the congress. Your suggestions for holding a workshop on the main topics of Congress will also be welcomed. This congress will be held at Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC) from the 21 to 23 February 2022 with the participation and responsibility of the Union of Medicinal Plants Associations in Iran (UMPA) and Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center IHEC). We hope that the results of this congress will be effective in the development of medicinal plants industry.
To participate in the workshops, you must use the "Register" menu and then "Participate in the workshop".
This will display a list of workshops that you can choose from to suit your needs and timing. To do this, you must already be a member of the site.
To join the site, all you have to do is enter the "Membership" menu (at the top left of the site) and complete the relevant form. This will give you the username and password you need to register for the workshop.
To suggest holding workshops, you first need to register on the Congress site ("Membership" menu at the top left of the site) to become a member or user of the site. This will give you the username and password you need to submit your "workshop request" and subsequent "follow-ups".
To send a "Workshop Request" you must first enter the "Programs" menu and then "Workshop Request". Enter your username and password in the opened field. You will then have two options: "Submit a workshop request" and "My requests".
Clicking on "Submit a workshop request" will open a tab that must be filled out carefully. It is recommended that you type the following required information into a file beforehand:
* Workshop title, * Instructor name, instructor address, instructor page (personal website address), date and place of the workshop, audience, workshop instructor resume file, workshop presentation file, workshop upload request file, * workshop topics, * Full text of workshop contents.
Some plans for the Event
This event is held completely privately and with the support of various governmental, private and cooperative institutions. The call for attracting experts and enthusiasts in the field of medicinal plants is done in stages and on a small scale and in person in the form of four four-hour webinars. After each webinar, ten talented people are selected and start team building under the supervision of expert mentors.
During the event, additional training will be given on the first day, a practical workshop on writing designs and models will be held on the second day, and designs and ideas will be presented on the third day to raise capital.
